Really cool Rob. I tried photographing holographic wrapping paper before Christmas but I got glare from the lights, I'll have to try it again.
Thanks Karen! I lit this bag indirectly with four 100w halogen bulbs in clamp lamps, sort of one at each corner of the bag. I got glare as well when I pointed the lights on the bag full on. I got the best colors when I turned the lights away from the bag.
The colors you got are WOW outstanding. Amazing that you could get a shot like that from just a little bag. Terrific idea. :)
I can't believe how awesome this is. I want to shoot like you when I grow up! :)
